Nsight Problem

I am trying to get Nvidia Nsight running. Whenever I start CUDA debugging the following happens:

1. Nsight connects to my local machine

2. Nsight debug: "missing file on system"

3. Nsight disconnects from my local machine

The error message states that my executable is missing.

What am I doing wrong?

I am using Cudafy 1.11, CUDA 5 and Nsight 3.0.  I experienced the same problem under older verisons of CUDA and Nsight

Going to need more info to be sure.  Are you certain you've set up your working directory correctly?

Select your project, click on the green globe thing in solution explorer, then on the Launch properties:

Launch project - Check

Connection name: localhost

Working directory: Enter the name of the directory of this project, e.g. <path>\Cudafy\Cudafy.Host.UnitTests\bin\Debug

Hi Nick,

I have set the properties correctly.

The error message appears as a pop up:

Nsight Debug

Missing file on system:

The file exists on my file system. It is on a mapped network drive.

May I suggest not using mapped drives for running execs? There's usually a plethora of problems with that, im particular all the ACL problems (for whichever user is assigned to the nsight monitor process) .
